Just a quick update from the LMC. I truly hope everyone is staying Happy and Healthy! The last thing I want is for you to worry about late fees on your book, so I have gone in and renewed everyone's books that have been checked out. I will continue to do so until we can all be back to school. Stay Safe and Read, Read, Read!

Happy Monday! Today's pics are from Mrs. Brown, 4th grade! In addition to school planning, she has been keeping busy by taking walks as much as possible (here with son Bryce) and sewing fabric masks to donate. (Daughter Anna is a nurse, thanks for your hard work Anna!)

Today we highlight Miss Alice, one of our wonderful paraprofessionals! She has children at home, so like you she is working on all the home-schooling. Yesterday she celebrated World Autism Awareness Day!

Today's pic is from Dr. DeSchepper, who has been at school to get work done as needed. He has also been cooking with his daughter Kiley, who is home from college. These are some of the delicious meals that they have prepared together from scratch for the three of them at home.

Hello! For the month of April I will be sharing pics of what our staff members have been up to while sheltering-in-place. I will start with myself (Miss Rachel)... I have been able to continue working at school. When I am at home, I often play with my kitty & watch TV.

Normal office hours during closure are 9 am - 2 pm. However, tomorrow (March 31) and April 7 there will be extended hours to allow for homework drop-off & pickup. Those two days the lobby will be open 7:45 am - 5:00 pm.

Today IL Governor Pritzker announced a shelter in place order beginning tomorrow, 3/21, through 4/7. This means our schools will remain closed, and the soonest date we could resume is Wed. April 8th. More information will be sent out regarding school as we receive it from ISBE.

A key factor in lowering the pace and extent of spread of COVID-19 is practicing social distancing. Here is a graphic to help you understand what that does and does not mean. Everyone stay safe.
