PTO 2024 Egg My Yard Flyer

Planned Activities for 23-24

Grilling at AJ Meats:- August 25th, 11 am - 1 pm. Stop out for lunch and support the Orangeville PTO!

Flamingo Flock: September 4 - October 9. These feisty birds will be taking up residence in community yards. 

Happy Holidays Catalog: September 18 - October 3. Our popular Fall/Christmas wrap catalog fundraiser. More details will be sent home in September.

Paint the Hill: September 24, 4 - 6 pm. Similar to Freeport’s “Paint the Port” we will give squares on the hill and around the school to paint. This will be a FREE event this year and will help kick off Homecoming Week!

Homecoming Parade: September 29th. If you would like to walk with the PTO, let us know. More details to come later.

Fall Parent Teacher Conference Meal: November 2nd. PTO will provide a snack/meal for all teachers and staff.

Scrip Fundraiser: November 13- December 1.  A popular event for us. We want to make that Christmas shopping easier on you. Order your store gift cards through the PTO and we will hand deliver the cards before Christmas break AND we get a percent back towards the school. Details will come home in November.

Food Bank Truck/Food Drive: November/TBD. Details are still being worked out but possibly an opportunity to serve the community in partnership with the Food Bank Truck. More information will come home at a later date.

Teacher Giving Tree: December. PTO will sponsor a classroom gift giving tree again. Each classroom will create an Amazon Wish List with supply requests. Families can then order the gift and fill that need for the classroom. More info will come in December.  

Meat Raffle: November. More details TBD

PTO Sponsored Christmas shop: December 14-15. Kids come and shop for gifts for their families. 

Spaghetti Dinner before basketball game: January date TBD . Bringing back some history here with this event. Dinners were held at the school before/during the evening basketball game. Opponents team/families are invited to attend as well as the Orangeville community.

Bingo & Carnival: March 9: Come enjoy a few hours of family bingo and then hit up the biannual Carnival with bounce houses, games and food! Raffle baskets and silent auction will be included on this night.

Egg My Yard: TBD. We will stuff the eggs with candy and hide them for you! 

IAR Testing: Dates TBD.

Teacher Appreciation Week: First full week in May. There will be an appreciation meal provided for all teachers and staff. We will also be planning daily activities and treats for the staff to show them how much they are appreciated. 

Track and Field Day: TBD

Some other items or events we are looking into & hope to schedule: Culvers Day, Donuts with Grownups, Muffin Mornings.
