For the first time in several years, the last day of the school year was in May! Starting today, June 1st, 2026, the summer schedule will begin for Orangeville School District.
General office hours for Miss Tonya in the elementary, Miss Rachel in the high school, and bookkeeper Ms. Paula, will be 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Offices are closed for lunch 12:30 - 1:00 pm. The custodial staff will also be in the building from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.
Superintendent Mrs. Julie Katzenberger will be in district through June 30th, then starting July 1st, our new Superintendent Dr. Tom Rude will begin.
The building will be closed on Friday, June 19th, and Friday, July 3rd, for federal holidays.
Please note that there are other days the staff may be taking time off, and will not be in the office. There may also be times when cleaning/waxing is happening and a portion of the building is closed. In either of those situations, there will be a note on the door directing you elsewhere. If you need to stop in during the summer, we recommend you check ahead to make sure the person you would like to see is in the building that day. Call 815-789-4450 (elementary/district) or 815-789-4289 (Jr.-Sr. High).
Summer Hours run through Friday, August 14th. Teacher Institute days will be August 17-18th, and school for K-12 will begin on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026.
Have a great summer!
