Grade School

Hello Bronco Families!

Happy Friday! It is hard to believe that first quarter is officially over! I want to share a few updates with you on some things ahead:

  • The Halloween parade will be held next Friday, October 28, beginning at 12:30! The parade route is below. Please feel free to stop out and enjoy all our students in their costumes and enjoy the fun!
    • If the weather is too cold or is rainy, the students will parade around the building and into the field house. Spectators will be welcome in the field house to watch!
    • When sending costumes with your students, please make sure that students can put them on with little assistance. Also remember that coats/hats may be required depending on the temperature.
  • First quarter awards will be celebrated in classrooms. We are hard at work planning a second quarter awards assembly that will allow for families to come in and celebrate all of our students' accomplishments!
  • A first quarter incentive trip is also being planned! Students will be going to Highland Community College to see the play "Dragons Love Tacos!" This trip will take place on November 15 (K-2) & 16 (3-5). As soon as details are finalized, more information will be shared.
  • And finally, don't forget that Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 27 AND Thursday, November 3. Both evenings will be held from 4pm-7pm. Please contact the Jr./Sr. office (815-789-4289) if you still need to schedule your conference.

There is so much to be proud of at Orangeville Elementary School! Thank you for your continued support of all of our students!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend! :)
