Blood Drive - All Types Needed

Good afternoon,

In two weeks, on March 13th, 2023, the National Honor Society will be sponsoring a blood drive at Orangeville High School. We are asking for your help with spreading the word or signing up to donate. Our goal is to sign-up 40 participants to make a donation. Below is a flyer with information and a QR code to directly register for a donation appointment, and if you click on the flyer, the link will take you to schedule an appointment. Also at the bottom is a short video about making a donation.

Students are eligible to donate as well. Students between 16-18 will need parental permission and a photo ID. Students 18 and over do not need a permission slip but will need their photo ID. Students can pick up permission slips from my office. I will also provide 1 hour of community service for any student making a donation.

If you are not able to make the donation event on the 13th, you can still make a donation at a Rock River Valley Blood Center between now and May 23. Your donation will count toward our Schools Unite to Save Lives numbers.

Donating blood is a quick, safe and easy process. I personally donate approximately every 56 days. I will be donating today and will then be eligible to donate again before May 23. All donations stay in the NWIL area, so please consider making a donation on the 13th.

Thank you!
