The USDA has started a new nutrition program to help families buy food for their school-age children during the summer, called SUN Bucks. If you are automatically eligible, you receive a letter soon. Yesterday, Mrs. McKay's 5th grade class went on a field trip to Midway Village in Rockford. They had fun visiting and experiencing the various exhibits and learning about history (and stopping for ice cream afterward).

Sharing once again for our friends at the Workforce Connection: They are hosting a Job Fair at the Boys and Girls Club tomorrow, 5/23, from 2-5 pm. Many jobs and employers will be represented there, and on-site interviews are possible. Check it out!

A reminder to juniors and junior parents: Tonight (5/20/24) is financial aid night for the juniors. It will take place in the LMC starting at 7:00 pm. If you have questions or need help filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), please make sure to attend.

Congratulations to the Bronco Softball team and coaches on their Regional Championship win tonight against Le-Win! Orangeville will now play the winner of tonight's Regional game at Dakota on Tuesday, May 21st, at 4:30 pm in South Beloit. Great job!


Tonight is the softball Regional championship game, Orangeville vs. Le-Win! Game begins at 4:00, and gate is $5 per IHSA rules so no passes will be accepted. I'm sure we'll have a big crowd, so if you can carpool, it will help save parking spaces for everyone. Come cheer them on!

This is a reminder to all current 8th grade families that tonight (5/16/24) is Freshmen Orientation. It begins at 7:00 pm and will take place in the main gymnasium. Parents and students should plan to attend if they are new to the high school in the fall.

Orangeville is host this evening to softball Regional game #2, which is Lena-Winslow vs. Eastland, beginning at 4:30 pm. Gate is $5 per IHSA rules, no passes will be accepted. The winner of this game will go on to the championship game Friday. Come out and cheer them on!
