
The Orangeville & Monroe softball teams came together to support Coach G and bring cancer awareness during the Monroe Softball Tournament on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023. The fundraiser for the UW Carbone Cancer Center in honor of Toby Golembiewski raised over $1,000 in donations!

Last Friday (4/14/23), Michael Wayne came to visit our elementary for Author Day. We had a great afternoon listening and doing activities with him! Thank you to Michael Wayne for coming and spending time with us, and a huge thank you to the Orangeville PTO for making it happen!


The Orangeville Girl Scout Troop #5410 is holding a Food Drive for their Annual Service Project/Take Action Project. The girls would like your help in collecting any kind of canned goods, peanut butter, pasta, rice, fruit cups, juice boxes, cereal and pre-packaged snacks. Collection dates are Monday, April 24th - Friday, April 28th. There will be boxes in the Grade School and High School lobbies. The donations will be taken to the Lena Food Pantry which serves Lena, Winslow, McConnell and Orangeville residents. Thank you in advance for all your support!


This is a reminder that the Orangeville School District had an RtI Day tomorrow (4/21/23). The K-12 will dismiss at 1:15 pm. The PM preschool will have a work at home day.

This is a reminder that due to the preschool screening being held in the morning, there will be no AM preschool tomorrow (4/20/2023), but there WILL be PM preschool in the afternoon as usual.

The taste of summer last week was a nice surprise! It may not be as nice this week, but we love all the earth's weather, lol... Because this week is Earth Week, leading up to Earth Day on Saturday. Celebrate by dressing up each day this week.

Reminder that this is the last week for the Bikes for Books program. Students can read and turn in tickets up till this Friday. Although there is only one winner for the bike, the class that reads the most books, will win a pizza party! We have had a lot tickets turned in, so keep up the GREAT work!


Author Day is almost here! This Friday, the author Michael Wayne will be visiting our Orangeville Grade School students. He will be doing a presentation and a slideshow, to show and explain how he writes his books and how he comes up with his characters. Parents can order books on the order forms that were sent home today.

Yesterday, our 4th and 5th grade classes went on a field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. It was a long day, but we had a great time learning and seeing all the displays. Thank you to our teachers and the chaperones for making it a great day!
