Correction to the homecoming schedule - Tuesday's HS volleyball game is a home game. Come out and cheer your broncos multiple times during homecoming week!


A reminder that picture re-take day is tomorrow, 9/30. If your child wasn't here on picture day, please have them get their photo taken. If you ordered a picture package & wish to have your child's photo redone, send in the original package plus $5 & have a new picture taken.


Next week is OHS homecoming week! I know everyone wants to start planning their outfits, so included is the overall schedule, the jr.-sr. high dress up days, and the elementary dress up days. Remember to keep outfits within the school dress code, but have fun!

As part of learning about an apple tree's life cycle, Mrs. Frautschy's kindergarten class, along with Mrs. Biddick's first grade class went on a field trip to Curran's Apple Orchard yesterday. It was a little chilly, but it looks like everyone had a good time!

Congrats to OHS alum Kelsey Bollon! This weekend she was presented with these awards during the Concordia University WI Alumni Day. She earned many prestigious athletic & academic accolades during her time as a student, and she graduated this spring with a degree in math education. She is currently pursuing her masters degree at Concordia as well as working as an assistant coach for the softball team.



On Friday afternoon, our "Grand" people were invited to visit the elementary. We had singing, cookies, & lots of fun sharing some time with our grands. In spite of the chill in the air, it was a nice day to visit! A big thank you goes out to the PTO for helping sponsor the event!

Reminder: Friday is our Grand Event, celebrating the Adults in our Elementary Student's lives who are GRAND and have a GRAND impact on them. Attached is the invitation that came home with all the details! We would love to see lots or grandparents, family members or friends!


The National Honor Society is sponsoring Penny Wars, from 9/26 - 10/5. Proceeds will go to support the Green Co. Humane Society. ALL students are invited to compete, but the high school classes will also earn points in the homecoming competition. Please see the flyer for rules.


Anyone HS age to 20 years old, with an interest in exploring a variety of careers in healthcare, should look into FHN’s Healthcare Exploring program!
As a part of this program, participants have the opportunity to visit a variety of departments and learn about the career paths within FHN. This Wednesday, September 21st at 6:30pm they will be hosting an information session in the Conference Dining Room located on the lower level of the hospital. Interested participants and parents are welcome to attend to learn more about the FHN Exploring program. If you are not able to attend this information session, but would like to learn more feel free to contact them at coil@fhn.org.


Reminder: The Smile Illinois mobile dentist will be at the school on Wednesday, Oct. 19th, 2022. Any parent wishing to have their child(ren) seen by the mobile dentist must turn in the form by this Thursday, 9/22. You can also sign up at www.MySchoolDentist.com
