
As part of their holiday traditions studies, the 4th & 5th grades went caroling at the school offices and around town on Monday, December 19th, 2022. They really had fun going around town practicing this old American tradition.

Winter break has officially begun! Orangeville School District will be closed Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022 - Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023. We will resume school and start our second semester on Monday, January 9th, 2023. Have a wonderful break and enjoy your time to relax!


Reminder: Tomorrow (12/21/22) Orangeville School District will dismiss at 1:15 for K-12. The PM preschool will have a work at-home day. Jr-Sr High has finals, and those who did not get a waiver signed to leave at 12:10 will remain until the buses come for everyone at 1:15.


Tomorrow, 12/21, is the final holiday dress up day, and the last school day of the month, semester, and of 2022! It is "Holiday Lights", so dress up according to your class color. It's also the second day of high school finals - evens. PLUS, the district dismissal is at 1:15.

Tomorrow, Dec. 20th, we'll be halfway through the week! Our fun dress up day is "Long Winter's Night" aka PJ day. Wear school-appropriate pajamas for a cozy day in class. (But don't fall asleep, because for the high school, this is also the first day of finals - the odds.)


We're continuing our holiday fun dress up days tomorrow, Dec. 19, with the popular "Ugly Sweater Day"! Make our last Monday this month a little more festive by dressing up in the best worst sweater you have!

The Fine Arts Boosters want to say a HUGE 'Thank You!' to everyone who helped with the Cookie Walk at the elementary concert this past week! Whether you donated cookies or volunteered your time to work at the Cookie Walk, we couldn't have been so successful without you. With the combined profits and donations from the Cookie Walk, the Boosters raised $536.40!

Tomorrow is our last December Friday dress up day. For Dec. 16th, we're having "Holiday Accessories Day". Wear any holiday-themed hats, socks, necklaces, scarves, jewelry, etc. Have silly fun!


Tonight (12/14/22) is the Elementary Holiday Concert! It starts at 6:30 in the high school gym. Don't forget that we also have the cookie walk going on before & after the concert (starting at approx. 5:40), as well as the book fair in the library 4-8 pm. Everyone is welcome!


This is a reminder that tomorrow (12/15/22) there will be a Lorado Taft informational meeting in the cafeteria at 5:30. All 8th grade students should plan to attend with at least one parent/guardian. If you cannot attend, please contact Mrs. Misek.

As a behavior incentive for K-5 PE, Mrs. CJ has offered the Almost Impossible Shot to students at the end of class. There have been many attempts, but Maci Diffenderfer was the first to actually make the shot! She gets to pick the 5th grade PE activity on Friday. Congrats Maci!
