Thank you to this past year's yearbook sponsors!

Thank you to our local fire departments for running your training exercises Thursday night on our football field! They pulled approx. 48K gallons from the Richland Creek, transported it by tanker, and then different trucks took turns filling a catch basin, with one truck dedicated to pumping water to the hoses used to water the football field. It is amazing what they can do with the equipment.

Sharing for our friends in the Orangeville Lions Club: Next month they will host their annual Home for the Holidays Craft & Vendor Show in the school building. There will be many booths and items, so come out Saturday, Nov. 23rd from 9-2 to check it out!

Time is ticking to earn our students more books! You can contribute through the invitation from your favorite student or make a school-wide contribution https://tinyurl.com/OrangevilleES61060CommLink through Sunday night.

The National FFA Convention is this week, and we are sending a big CONGRATULATIONS to Alaina Dinderman, who was recognized as a National Finalist for Proficiencies in Dairy Production Entrepreneurship, and placed 2nd in the Dairy Handlers CDE! We're so proud of you Alaina!

Again, happy wishes for Principal Appreciation Day to Mrs. Ingram and Mr. Kolar! We hope the staff enjoyed the cake and ice cream, and that the principals had a great day and will have a great weekend!

Today is Principal Appreciation Day!! If you see Mr. Kolar or Mrs. Ingram, be sure to say hello and give them a smile or a high-five and some well-wishes. We here at Orangeville School District definitely appreciate them and hope they have a wonderful day!

Attention PreK-5 Book Blaster families! We have only a few days left! Now is the time to contribute through the invitation from your favorite student or to make a school-wide contribution. You have until Sunday night to contribute.
Thank you to everyone in our community and beyond that have contributed to our Book Blast event! Your support will help students take home as many books as possible, up to 10 each. In our quest to promote literacy and reading, every new book is like gold to be treasured!

Go You Broncos!
A little sneak peak of our Orangeville Elementary Cheer Camp from yesterday has our school spirit high for this weekend's HS football game! If you want to see your Bronco Cheerleaders in action, come on out to the HS Football game on 10/26 for a halftime performance!
Cheer loud and cheer proud Broncos!

Hello Orangeville Families!
As October comes to a close, we would like to send a quick reminder out that this week marks National Bus Safety Week. Every year, the third week of October recognizes the need for continued safe practices regarding School Bus Transportation. Although we recognize these practices this week specifically, we ask that they are followed throughout the school year.
Please see the attached photos for tips and reminders when you approach a school bus on the road.
Thank you for continuing to support your Broncos as they safely transport to/from school!

Tomorrow evening, 10/24, don't be alarmed when you see many fire trucks and personnel at the school district. We are working with the Orangeville Fire Chief to get our football field watered before Saturday's game. The Orangeville, Cedarville and Winslow Fire Departments are planning to do a tanker exercise on Thursday, October 24th. They will transport 27,000 gallons of water by fire trucks using a local fill station. The plan is to simulate at least one inch of rainfall on the entire playing surface.
The purpose of this event is to try to provide a safer playing surface, during an unusually dry fall, along with training for our local fire departments. We are grateful for and proud of the support our school district receives from volunteers and organizations around the area! Thank you and go Broncos!

Volleyball Regionals are coming up next week, and they will take place at Forreston HS. Orangeville will play Tuesday, 10/29, at 7 pm against Durand. Play after that will depend on the outcome of that game. See photo #2 for the full schedule of games. Go broncos!
