Returning families - Skyward registration is now open. You received an email with instructions for your Skyward portal. Do not be concerned that currently there are no past or current fees or lunch balances in the system. Please follow instructions in the email to register your returning students asap. If you have questions, please email the school. EDIT: It looks like the system will show you haven't registered (even if you filled it out) until it is able to be accepted on the school's end. We will do that next week.
Families that did not make it to the extra-curricular meeting on Monday should go to the Athletic Information page: https://www.orangevillecusd.com/page/athletic-information to view the presentation and fill out the survey at the end. Families should also review the Athletic Emergency Plan, and then print, sign, and turn in the AEP signature pages. High school families will also need to turn in the Drug Testing Consent form.

Last year as part of an assignment, Mrs. MacKenzie had the students write an essay as part of the Americanism Essay Contest for the American Legion Auxiliary. She sent them in, and this summer Grady S. won 2nd place for 7-8th graders in the State of Illinois! Congrats Grady!

Our custodial staff is currently cleaning the boys locker room and have discovered more items left behind. These items are on the training table and another table on the sports side. They will be left for pick up until the end of football camp next week. After that, items will either be donated or thrown away.

This is a reminder that all athletes planning on playing JH and HS sports this year need a sports physical before they can participate (6 and 9 graders need FULL regular physicals and those will count for sports as well). The football and volleyball season begins August 11th.
