Today Mr. Kolar took a group to the IPA Student Leadership Recognition brunch in Dixon, where two students from the eldest level of each of our school sections (so 5th, 8th, and 12th grades) were recognized as being outstanding students, and leaders in their classes. Congratulations to (L-R with Mr. Kolar in the middle): Keaton Laurent, Jude Brownson, Gavin Roth, Lauren Witte, Ella Scheider, and Rylie Scheuerell!

Happy Friday! Thank you to our yearbook sponsors!

This is a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, May 3, 2024, Orangeville School District has a scheduled SIP Day. This means our students will dismiss at 11:00 am.

Thank you to our area first responders, especially Leamon's Ambulance, Orangeville and Cedarville Fire Depts., and the Stephenson Co. Sheriff's Office, for organizing and participating in yesterday's Prom Accident simulation. Also thank you to our student actors: Paxton Bastian, Gavin Roth, Alex Schmidt, Whitney Sullivan, and Brock Tyrrell. This is an important exercise to help students realize the real-world consequences of making poor decisions. Also, check out the local news coverage from Ch. 17/39: https://www.mystateline.com/news/stateline-first-responders-educate-students-on-the-dangers-of-driving-under-the-influence/

We are hosting the prom mock accident simulation today (4/30) on the east side of the school at 1 pm, so there will be police, fire, ambulance, and Life Line helicopter coming to the school. Please don't be alarmed, as this is just a simulation, and everyone is okay. Thank you.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! Thank you to the ladies, Ms. Tonya D, Ms. Rachel H, and Ms. Cindy W, in our offices at Orangeville School District who keep our school running smoothly!

We are a little tardy with the well-wishes, but today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Thank you to Mr. Lauren E., Mr. Dave J., Mr. Jerry S., and Mr. Ryan S., who drive our precious cargo to and from school daily. We hope you have a wonderful evening!

Huge congrats to Coach Lon Scheuerell! On Saturday at the Monroe Softball tournament, Lon achieved his 500th varsity softball win! We will be doing a banner presentation just before our 4:30 game tomorrow at Orangeville. Please come out and join us for this wonderful milestone.
