Thank you students, parents, & staff for the amazing support today! Your efforts helped raise over $250 for the Lena-Winslow memorial tree and the Confer family. Any further donations can be made directly to Le-Win Elementary 815-668-0809, or Leamon's Funeral Home 815-369-4512.

In a display of solidarity and support for the Confer family and our area friends at Lena-Winslow, we are asking students to wear black and gold tomorrow. Part of living in small communities is our resiliency in the face of tragedy and lifting each other up when necessary. We appreciate your help turning our purple and gold into black and gold for the day. In addition, students may bring in $1 if they wish to donate toward the memorial tree to be planted at Lena-Winslow Elementary. Elementary students will turn in the $1 to their homeroom teachers. Mr. Moore will collect the $1 for Jr-Sr High students.

We would like to thank Pat Widolff with the Orangeville Fire Dept., Louise Lameyer with Leamon's Ambulance, Brent Massingill with the IL State Police, and all the local fire, law enforcement, and first-responders that helped with our prom mock-accident yesterday. It is a very impactful demonstration for the students. If you would like to view a short clip, click here: https://youtube.com/shorts/gFAI6aGKREQ?feature=share
