National Honor Society is holding Penny Wars as their service project at the elementary, to help raise money for the Green County Humane Society. Today through Nov. 21st, GS classes should compete to see who can raise the most points following the Penny Wars rules on the flyer. The winning class will get a special assembly with visitors from the shelter!
On Oct. 17, 2025, the 4th and 5th grade classes visited Severson Dells in Rockford for a day of learning about habitats, adaptations, and plant and animal survival. Students completed several challenges. One, shown here, was building a shelter from materials found in nature.

Yesterday, Orangeville School District held our annual Veterans Day program. Thank you to all who participated, especially our guest speakers, Mr. David Caudle and Mr. Bill Meier. The annual Home for the Holidays Craft and Vendor Show held by the Orangeville Lions Club is coming up very soon! It is on Saturday, November 22nd, right here at the school building. There are many booths full of lovely items, and all proceeds are donated back to the community/public needs.
It's that time of year again! Daylight Savings ends tomorrow morning (11/2/25) at 2 am, so turn those clocks back tonight before you go to bed so you can sleep in an hour. :)
